Saudi Arabia is investing in maritime heritage, requiring underwater archaeologists with standardised, safe and ethical methods. KBD delivered a two-week course for 15 trainees, building strong theory and practical competence using modern tools and international-standard protocols.

With 85%+ of marine fish stocks overexploited, aquaculture is vital for food security. KBD, with a Saudi government partner, is advancing sustainable aquaculture—innovative feeds and endemic species domestication—to reach 530,000 tonnes by 2030 and support coastal communities.
