KBD Labs

KBD Labs is a multidisciplinary research center where we focus on marine, environmental, and biotechnological sciences across four specialized laboratories: Geoscience, Bioscience, Environmental Technology, and Geomatics. Our work includes fisheries assessment, marine ecology studies, and genetic analysis, as well as aquaculture services such as biochemical testing, flesh-quality evaluation, and applying molecular tools to support breeding programs.

We also develop algae-based applications for biotechnology, sustainable materials, and animal feed, while providing soil and water chemistry testing. Through our Environmental Technology and Geomatics labs, we conduct marine and land surveys using robotics, drones, and 3D scanning, supported by advanced mapping, GIS, and AI-driven data analysis.

Our Focus Areas

KBD Labs serves as a multidisciplinary platform that bridges research, applied solutions, and sustainable development in alignment with national and regional priorities.

Geoscience Lab

Soil and groundwater chemistry, mining and waste project support, particle size distribution, and (future) physical and geotechnical testing.

Bioscience Lab

Our environmental bioscience laboratory applies advanced molecular and cellular techniques—such as environmental genomics and microbial ecology—to tackle ecological challenges, from pollution dynamics to sustainable biotechnology. Equipped with cutting-edge instrumentation for sequencing and ecotoxicology studies, our expert team provides rigorous data and innovative solutions for environmental stewardship.

Environmental Technology (EnvTech) Lab

Delivering innovative field surveys and environmental monitoring using robotics, sensors, and next-generation technologies.

Geomatics Lab

Providing precision mapping and spatial intelligence through drones, 3D scanning, GIS, and AI-powered geospatial analytics.
